Forty years ago, filmmaker Cynthia Choucair was a refugee. Today, she is a volunteer of COUNTING TILES, an organization that welcomes Arab refugees (newcomers) with cheerfulness. One day, she and the group of volunteers receive piles of life jackets and deserted boats instead of refugees. With such a sad reality, will COUNTING TILES continue to work?
