MAD Solutions and Iraqi Film Fund have signed a landmark understanding agreement, marking a significant step toward strengthening the global presence of Iraqi cinema.
The Iraqi Film Fund is a national initiative dedicated to supporting Iraq’s film industry by financing projects, developing filmmakers skills, and strengthening international presence through partnerships, co-productions, and the establishment of a sustainable cinematic infrastructure.
Through this collaboration, MAD will take on a key role in the sales and distribution of Iraqi films, while also actively supporting the growth and visibility of emerging and established Iraqi filmmakers.
The Iraqi Film Fund, in parallel, is developing an ambitious and diverse slate that spans feature-length fiction, documentaries, and short films, reflecting the richness and complexity of contemporary Iraqi storytelling. This partnership not only opens new international pathways for Iraqi productions but also reinforces a shared commitment to nurturing bold voices and bringing authentic regional narratives to wider audiences worldwide.
