Unlike other festivals that only feature a category for music videos, The Los Angeles Music Video Festival focuses exclusively on music videos, their makers and their fans. Besides, the festival also presents EMVY trophy for various music video categories, including Best Narrative, Best Non-Narrative, Best Animated, Best Student, Best Unofficial and Best Interactive and/or VR.
