The Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival is designed to celebrate talented underground artists from around the glove, providing them with a forum to exhibit their work. It accepts different categories of films, including Short Film, Feature Film, Feature Documentary, Short Documentary, Student, Experimental, Foreign, Animation, Music Video and Script Competition. It also hands out awards for the best in each category, as well as other individual awards that include Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and other Honorable Mentions.
