Founded in 2015 by Kate Fleming to provide a platform for filmmakers to present their latest work in a relaxed setting, Sunday Shorts Film Festival is an international monthly short film festival and script competition with awards and screenings in London and Lisbon, with plans to also operate in Berlin. The events are free to attend, and are a great place for creatives to meet like-minded people and gain an insight into independent filmmaking around the world. Each month, Sunday Shorts curates a diverse program by selecting 8 short films to be screened to a live audience. It also hosts filmmaker Q&As.
