Created in 1992 in Warsaw, Poland, Euroshorts Young Filmmakers is an international short film festival that aims to promote and support young artists. Euroshorts has shown over 1,000 films made by young filmmakers so far and awarded the best ones. It screens fiction, documentary, animation, experimental films and creative commercials. Euroshorts is open to all short films which are original, beautiful and powerful, including first films and student films. The event is organized under the honorary patronage of Ms. Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, the Mayor of Gdańsk, and Mr. Mieczysław Struk, the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship.
