Aiming to encourage emerging filmmakers by appreciating their work, the Kyiv Film Festival has a mission to support filmmakers, recognize their hard work, and inspire them to keep telling amazing stories by awarding them. It accepts all genres of films from all over the world. The Festival awards the best independent filmmakers worldwide. Best Picture winners get laurels and distribution offers. The Award of Achievement is presented in different genres and categories, including Drama (Feature, Short, Short Student), Comedy/Dramedy (Feature, Short, Short Student), Action/Thriller (Feature, Short, Short Student), Animation (Feature, Short, Short Student), and more.
