The world’s first film festival dedicated to celebrating cinematic sound and music, the Short Sounds Film Festival (SSFF) champions the unseen maestros behind the sound and music of cinema. The SSFF screens short-form and feature-length documentaries, dramas and animations that push the boundaries of sound design and music. In its fourth edition in 2021, the SSFF will feature a programme of films richly authentic in their use of sound and music accompanied by talks, networking, awards and unique sounds installations designed to challenge everyone’s relationship with cinematic audio.
