founded in 1992, Hamptons International film festival is a non-profit organization that provides one of the most glamorous year-round programs, including screenings, summer documentary program, a Screenwriters Lab, and extensive educational initiatives. The festival is now open for Narrative Features & Short Films, Documentary Features & Shorts, and University Short Films. It includes many competitions, like Narrative Feature, Documentary Feature, Narrative Short and Documentary Short Competitions. In addition to the competition awards, the festival hands out a number of awards, including the Zicherman Family Foundation Screenwriting Award, the Suffolk County Film Commission Next Exposure Grant and the Rabinowitz Award for Social Justice.
