Administered and operated by Jon Gursha and Peter Greene, Golden State Film Festival seeks to support emerging and young filmmakers from around the world. The festival helps independent filmmaking to reach more audiences by offering out a number of events including opening night gala ball, red-carpet awards ceremony, coveted prizes and screenings. Among the awards that the festival offers there are Best Micro Documentary Film, Best Foreign Language Short, Best International Short Documentary, Best International feature and others, as well as screenplay awards.
