Celebrating the original, innovative and new voices out there in the world, Fresh Voices Competition aims to support and guide the emerging talented writers. It offers a package of over $20,000 cash prize, script development, career consultation, plus memberships and subscriptions to services. The competition categories include Action/ Adventure, Comedy/ Romantic-Comedy, Drama/ Period/ Historical/ Biopic, Family/ Animated/ Musical, Science-Fiction/ Fantasy, Thriller/ Horror, Short Script, 1 Hr TV Pilot, 1/2 Hr TV Pilot and TV Writing Sample. It also hands out awards to First Place in each category as well as two Honorable Mentions.
