Taking place every year in Rome during summer, Fantafestival was founded in 1981 to be one of the oldest and most known science fiction, fantasy and horror genre festivals. Brings together the most established filmmakers and actors as guests of honors, the festival marks the begging of many prestigious filmmakers now. The festival is open to two categories which are the Best fantastic feature and the Best fantastic short. In addition, the festival is also welcoming TV and web series, comics and videogames.
