Began in 1995, Encounters Film Festival is an international film festival that aims to support and help emerging filmmakers across the world by providing a platform. Aiming to celebrate short films, animations and virtual realities, the festival holds many events, including short film screenings, features, special guests, Q&As and headline events, masterclasses and Workshops as well. Known to be the core of the festival, the Encounters international competition is one of the significant competitions in the world.
