Accepting more than 5,000 submissions from 100+ countries, Discover Film Awards is one of the biggest short films in the world. The festival showcases various genres of shorts, including animation, documentary, action, sci-fi, drama and comedy. In addition to the screenings, the festival has global premiers at Leicester Square in London where it hosts filmmaker parties, red carpet events, script-pitching round tables and funding opportunities for new projects. The festival also hands out the biggest short film cash prize fund of $50,000, including the prestigious Craghoppers Film Prize.
