Cork International Film Festival provides many awards through its sections In Competition and Out of Competition. The in Competition awards are Grand Prix Irish Short Award, Grand Prix International Short Award, Grand Prix Documentary Short Award, Spirit of the Festival Award, Award for Cinematic Documentary, Best Director Irish Short, and Best Cork Short Award, while the awards presented in the Out of Competition section are Audience Award and Cork International Film Festival Youth Jury Award.
