Austin Spotlight Film Festival aims to spotlight outstanding films that can’t make it alone to media exposure or theatrical releases. It looks for complementing these films and provide more immediate opportunities whether distribution ones or production. Moreover, the festival accepts all types of short films, features, music videos, trailers and even kickstarters. After the screenings, there are Q&As with filmmakers and screenwriters where audience have the opportunity to learn more. The festival offers over 30 awards, along with 2 plagues.
