Aesthetica Short Film Festival hosts a diversity of events including screenings, masterclasses and panel discussions. The festival’s submissions are open for various categories, including Advertising Film, Animation, Artists' Film, Comedy, Dance, Documentary, Drama, Experimental, Fashion Film, Music Video, Thriller, VR & Immersive Experiences, 360 Video, Narrative Feature Film and Documentary Feature Film. Moreover, the festival presents awards for Best Film in each category in the Official Selection, besides other awards, including Best of Fest, People’s Choice, the York Youth Award, Hijack Visionary Filmmaker Award and the BFI Network & Film Hub North Polaris Award.
