The Worldwide Women's Film Festival aims to shed light on women’s issues all over the world through using the power of films. It supports women working in the filmmaking industry by providing educational programs and selecting films that feature at least one women in the cast or in the crew. Furthermore, the festival presents numerous awards to recognize both films and filmmakers featuring women, including Best Short Film, Best Documentary Feature, Best Documentary Short, Best Student Feature Film and Best Student Short Film.
