Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a cultural event that seeks to promote and encourage environmental activism and a love for nature through film. It brings together film goers and makers who are interested in saving our threatened planet, featuring 100+ films, workshops, visiting filmmaker and activist talks, family-friendly programs, art exhibitions, parties, and more. It includes three categories; Environmental Films, Adventure Films and Film Competition - Student Level. Moreover, Ten "Yubie" awards are given each year for Best of Festival, People's Choice, Spirit of Activism, Most Inspiring Adventure Film, Best in Theme, Best Short Short, Two Jury Awards, Student Filmmaker and John de Graaf Environmental Filmmaking Award.
