Founded in 2011 by Brad Russell, the Washington West Film Festival aims to bring in the finest original films from around the world. The festival was created with the aim of proving that one great story can lead to another, giving away 100% of its annual box office net proceeds to aiding communities. Washington West Film Festival also presents a number of awards, including Best Documentary Short Film, Best Narrative Short, Best Short Film Director, Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary Feature along with a number of audience and other awards.
