The Virginia Film Festival is a program of the University of Virginia that is dedicated to celebrating the fascinating art of movies in Charlottesville. It features a variety of independent and international projects of new narrative and documentary features, adding fresh perspectives to all timeless classics. Unlike other festivals, VAFF is a non-competitive Festival, yet it offers Programmer's Awards chosen by the programming team and Audience Awards, presenting awards for Narrative Feature, Narrative Short, Documentary Feature and Documentary Short.
