Based in the remarkable Peruvian city of Trujillo , Trujillo International Independent Film Festival runs every year for four days screening short and feature length films of the world cinema. The films submitted should fit into one of these categories: Comedy, Drama, Action, Thriller, Horror, Sci-fi, Animation, Experimental and Documentary. Additionally, the festival present awards to the best film in each category of both short films and feature-length films.
