With a motto saying “It all starts with an idea”, The Southern City Film Festival is dedicated to promote education and arts. It seeks to encourage artistic expression, and acknowledge emerging filmmakers from around the world. The festival opens its venues for film around the world that fit in to different categories, namely, feature films, documentary films, short films, script to screen and Homegrown. Additionally, the festival holds a screenplay contest where writers are encourage to submit their screenplays.
