A non-profit organization, the SAFILM-San Antonio Film Festival is a distinguished film event that aims to connect and support artists and filmmakers of all ages and from around the globe. Since its beginning in 1994, SAFILM-San Antonio Film Festival has been welcoming audiences of well-established press, filmmakers, industry professionals and film lovers. It includes a Screenplay Competition, which is open to two categories; Feature Screenplays and Short Screenplays. The festival also awards a plethora of jury prizes, audience awards and others for the best achievements out there.
