Student Los Angeles Film Awards (SLAFA) looks for distinguished work done by high school, undergrad and graduate film students worldwide. The festival is devoted to helping young filmmakers establishing recognizable steps towards their careers. Moreover, semi-finalists, finalists, and winners will receive the festival’s laurels. That’s besides the personalized certificates handed by the category winners and the Golden Eagle Statuette that is offered during the festival’s award ceremony.
