MBC operates the biggest and strongest free-to-air TV channels in the Arab world. In addition to its new SVOD platform Shahid Plus, it also boasts leading news websites. As a movie platform, however, the focus is on Hollywood and Bollywood movies rather than Arab movies. Raya is the only TV presenter who attends all the major cinema events in the world , be it festivals or film premieres. She has co-hosted ARABS GOT TALENT since it started, helping to build her social media following to 15 million fans. Like MBC, however, she rarely uses her reach to highlight Arab content.
