Since its inception in 1954, the Kuwait National Cinema Company (KNCC) has been Kuwait\'s sole exhibitor, operating 82 screens in 11 locations. In 2005, Cinescape partnered with Front Row Filmed Entertainment, distributing major Independent films from international suppliers like New Line Cinema, Studio Canal, TF1 International, Wild Bunch, Studio Ghibli, and many more.
Positive Financial Performance: KNCC’s net profits grew by 16% in the first half of 2025 over the same period in the previous year to $28.5m, which was achieved by operating revenues of $62.7m.
