
An award-winning, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences member, and Emmy-nominated, Nazih is a defining figure in Arab cinema who has scored more than 40 box-office hits. Nazih\'s global profile soared with his Emmy-nominated score for Marvel\'s MOON KNIGHT series, marking his acclaimed entry into internationally renowned projects. This achievement earned him a nomination for a World Soundtrack Award. Nazih’s other notable achievements include scoring the viral Pharaohs’ Golden Parade in 2021 and being the first and only composer to ever receive the honorary Faten Hamama Excellence Award from the 2018 Cairo International Film Festival.
EL SETT: Continuing his long-standing collaboration with Marwan Hamed, Nazih scored the biopic EL SETT on Umm Kulthum, which world premiered at the Marrakech International Film Festival, screened at IFFR 2026, and was released in cinemas across Egypt and the Arab world.
Marvel Return — EYES OF WAKANDA: Nazih marked his second collaboration with Marvel by scoring the animated series EYES OF WAKANDA, created by Todd Harris for Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics universe.
Grand Egyptian Museum Opening: He composed the inauguration music for the Grand Egyptian Museum, performed live by a 120-piece Egyptian orchestra joined by musicians and choirs from 79 countries, in a performance broadcast worldwide.
ASAD: Reuniting with Mohamed Diab, director of Marvel’s MOON KNIGHT and Cannes opener CLASH, Nazih scored the historical action drama ASAD, starring Mohamed Ramadan and Razanne Jamal. The film is set for release this May in Egypt and across the Arab world.
SONS OF RIZK streak: Having already scored the franchise — with the third installment ranking as the highest-grossing Egyptian film to date — Nazih is now gearing up for SONS OF RIZK 4, directed by Alarian and starring Ahmed Malek.
