CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):

Established in 2014, Filmlab Palestine aims to promote and revive cinema culture in Palestine, with a vision of a professional, creative, and innovative film industry. Filmlab´s philosophy is to create a new sustainable hub for creative local film production, with a program that supports networking, training, and education for film professionals and talent, and helps produce diverse, high-quality films in general and content for children.


 


 


 


 The accumulated efforts are brought together in the annual Palestine Cinema Days festival, which connects Palestine with the regional and international professional film industry, promotes Palestinian cinema culture, and builds an active local cinema audience.


TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):

At the Red Sea Souk: ART supported Saudi projects Dahlia Baeshen’s A NOBLE DEPARTURE, Dania Altayeb’s DHEL, and Palestinian project PLAYHOUSE by Maha Haj with production grants of $50,000 to each.
Palestine Cinema Days — Around the World: In November 2025, the event organized by Film Lab: Palestine returned with over 500 Palestinian film screenings held across 700 venues in 94 countries.
The Story Lab’s 2026 edition: The five?month project development program designed to support Arab filmmakers working on short films for young audiences returned for its sixth edition, in collaboration with Cinephilia Productions.
