CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):

Founded in 2014 by producer Hanna Atallah, FLP was inspired by its founders\' personal experiences empowering Palestinian youths in refugee camps in Jordan through a film literacy and talent program, which strengthened their own personal narratives. Based on this expertise, FLP aims to expand and cultivate cinema culture in Palestine while providing much-needed technical and artistic support for emerging Palestinian filmmakers.


TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):

At the Red Sea Souk: ART supported Saudi projects Dahlia Baeshen’s A NOBLE DEPARTURE, Dania Altayeb’s DHEL, and Palestinian project PLAYHOUSE by Maha Haj with production grants of $50,000 to each.
Palestine Cinema Days — Around the World: In November 2025, the event organized by Film Lab: Palestine returned with over 500 Palestinian film screenings held across 700 venues in 94 countries.
The Story Lab’s 2026 edition: The five?month project development program designed to support Arab filmmakers working on short films for young audiences returned for its sixth edition, in collaboration with Cinephilia Productions.
