As the founder of Maneki Films, Didar Domehri has established herself as a key figure in supporting auteur-driven cinema, collaborating with emerging and established filmmakers on projects that have premiered at major festivals including Cannes, Berlin, and Venice. Her producing credits include critically acclaimed titles such as ARTHUR RAMBO by Laurent Cantet, HOLY SPIDER by Ali Abbasi, which premiered in competition at Cannes and won Best Actress, and BORDER, which won the Un Certain Regard prize at Cannes. COTTON QUEEN: Directed by Suzannah Mirghani, this Doha Film Institute-supported feature continued its festival journey and garnered technical acclaim throughout 2025.
JOAN OF ARC: Directed by Hlynur Pálmason, this atmospheric drama was a major production for Domehri.
GOD WILL NOT HELP: Produced by Domehri and directed by Hana Jušić, this international competition title achieved critical success, winning Best Performance at the Locarno Film Festival. PROMISED SKY: Directed by Erige Sehiri, this film was officially selected for Cannes’ Un Certain Regard before going on an extensive festival run.
Untitled Santiago Mitre Netflix Project: Domehri entered pre-production on a new collaboration with Santiago Mitre for Netflix, continuing a partnership that previously produced THE SUMMIT and PAULINA.
César Award Presence: Her productions, including those involving Eva Husson and Erige Sehiri, remained central to the 2026 French awards conversation following their 2025 releases.
