
Since its inception in 2013 as part of the Venice Production Bridge at the Venice International Film Festival, the Final Cut in Venice has been a catalyst for providing concrete assistance to complete quality post-production projects from Africa, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. It has also facilitated talents and garnered awards, thereby making a significant impact on the global film industry.
Thirteenth Edition Highlights: The 13th edition was a major success, featuring eight selected projects in post-production that were showcased to international industry professionals. The top winning project was Sara Ishaq’s THE STATION, which won the prestigious La Biennale di Venezia Prize.
Strategic Partnerships: The Red Sea Film Foundation marked its fifth consecutive year as a supporter, reinforcing the workshop\'s role in the Arab film ecosystem.
VPB Focus Programs: For the 2025 edition, the workshop integrated special Focus on Morocco and Focus on the UK sessions to foster cross-regional co-productions.
Submissions Open: The official call for the 14th edition opened on March 10th. The submission deadline for producers and directors is June 9th.
