EL SETT: Marwan Hamed’s latest film is a biopic focusing on Egyptian megastar Umm Kulthum that premiered at Marrakech to a 10-minute standing ovation before heading to Rotterdam, Fribourg, and Sydney.
Paolini’s Partner-in-Crime: After Delfine Paolini’s feature directorial debut, A WONDERFUL WAY WITH DRAGONS (2025), which won him 10 best cinematography awards, Moussa is slated to work on all of Paolini’s upcoming projects, including UPSTATE; SKY, ZYPREXA NIGHT; REDS HEARTEN; and NEAR WAKING.
