CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
Zawya Cinema opened its doors in March 2014 to screen non-commercial films from around the world with a special focus on Arab and Egyptian independent films. Since its launch, Zawya Cinema has released over 300 Egyptian, Arab, and international arthouse films. It has also been responsible for the yearly Panorama of the European Film, showcasing award-winning European films.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
Panorama of the European Film: Zawya organized the 17th edition of the Panorama in November and December 2024, featuring over 40 award-winning films from across Europe.
Gouna Selects: Zawya screened 14 of the most anticipated films from the seventh El Gouna Film Festival.
