Cultural Foundation and the Berlinale. The WCF focuses on supporting the production and distribution of feature-length films

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S): Supporting Three Arab Films: In July 2024, the WCF announced a funding pot of eight production grants and two
distribution grants, totaling €260,000. Among them were Morad Mostafa’s AISHA CAN’T FLY AWAY (Egypt) and Ager
Oueslati’s YOU DON’T DIE TWO TIMES (Algeria) — which won production grants — and Mohamed Kordofani’s GOODBYE
JULIA (Sudan) with distribution funding for release in Germany.
