In 2017, Morsy founded Synergy Films as a subsidiary of his mother company, Synergy, which has produced over 150 TV titles. Synergy Films produced, financed, and/or distributed several Egyptian blockbusters, including El RUBY HOUSE, which grossed EGP 130m ($4.2m) in 2023, and Marwan Hamed’s KIRA & EL GIN, which boasted a production budget that surpassed $5m.
The Next Lineup of High-Profile Projects: Synergy is co-producing Hamed’s mega project EL SETT, in addition to Peter Mimi’s action blockbuster PROJECT X, starring Karim Abdel Aziz.
