Co-founded by producers Naguib and Fahmy as a production, distribution, and film theater operation company, Sea Cinema kicked off its production slate in 2021 with Nadine Khan’s ABU SADDAM, which premiered at the 43rd CIFF. This was followed by Amr Salama’s action film FIREWORKS, which debuted at the third RSIFF.

As with its previous titles, Sea Cinema remains committed to exploring diverse genres and narratives within a commercial framework. In 2024, the company released the romantic film EL HAWA SULTAN, directed by Heba Yousry
and starring Menna Shalaby, which became a stunning box office hit. This was followed in early 2025 by 6 DAYS, a romance that unfolds a complex emotional relationship across six pivotal days spanning more than two decades in the lives of its protagonists.
