CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
Already among the most active producers in the Arab World, Rula worked at the Royal Film Commission
of Jordan (RFC) and established the Filmmaker’s Support Program. Then, in 2011, Rula founded The Imaginarium Films, which produced
many award-winning films, such as THE LAST FRIDAY, which premiered at the Berlinale; the Saudi film SCALES, which won the Verona
Film Club Award at Venice; Ali Abbasi's HOLY SPIDER, Denmark's entry for Best International Feature at the 95th Academy Awards; THE
ALLEYS, the first Jordanian feature film to be selected at Locarno; INSHALLAH A BOY, the first Jordonian film at the Official Selection
at Cannes; Saudi film HAJJAN; and Mohamed Diab's AMIRA, which premiered at Venice and won three awards.
