The Red Sea International Film Festival, set in the picturesque city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a
global celebration of storytelling through film. This vibrant event brings together filmmakers, industry professionals, and
enthusiasts from around the world, showcasing diverse and groundbreaking works while nurturing emerging talent.
At the heart of the festival is the Red Sea Souk, a dynamic film market that serves as a thriving hub for industry networking,
business opportunities, and creative collaboration. It provides a platform for filmmakers, producers, distributors, and investors to
engage in dialogue, form partnerships, and share compelling stories with global audiences.
TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S): A Star-Studded Edition: The fourth edition of the RSIFF kicked off with a star-studded opening ceremony, including awards for
Vin Diesel, Emily Blunt, Michelle Rodriguez, and Indian icon Aamir Khan, in addition to director Spike Lee as the jury president.
Management Change: Kaleem Aftab, a UK journalist and member of the festival’s start-up team, left his role as director of
international programming at RSIFF in March 2025.
