CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
For more than 20 years, Rana has worked in the sound departments of various Arab and International films. In doing so, she has collaborated with an array of acclaimed filmmakers and producers, including Ghassan Salhab, Vatche Boulghourjian, Khalil Joreige, Joana Hadjithomas, Ali Essafi, Philippe Aractangi, and Joud Said. In 2020, she became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In 2022, she joined the Documentary Jury at the Berlinale, where her film, THE BURDENED, premiered. Three months later, her Sudanese film GOODBYE JULIA premiered at the Un Certain Regard.

HOT MILK: Her latest project, by British director Rebecca Lenkiewicz, premiered at the 75th Berlinale.
THE FOURTH WALL: An award-winning cinematic adaptation of Sophocles’ Antigone set in the Lebanese civil war by French director David Oelhoffen.
AlRawabi School for Girls S02: Netflix’s successful Jordanian teen drama streamed in February. Eid was the sound designer for its first season as well.
