Over the past few years, Metafora co-produced several award-winning narrative feature films, such as Anne Marie Jacir’s WAJIB, Mehdi Barsaoui’s A SON, Kaouther Ben Hania’s THE MAN WHO SOLD HIS SKIN, Ameer Fakher Eldin’s THE STRANGER, Maha Haj’s MEDITERRANEAN FEVER, Mohamed Ben Attia’s BEHIND THE MOUNTAINS, Farah Nabulsi’s THE TEACHER, and BACKSTAGE by Afef Ben Mahmoud and Khalil Benkirane.
On the Festival Trail: Metafora co-produced Ameer Fakher Eldin’s latest film YUNAN, which premiered at the 75th Berlinale; Rashid Masharawi’s Oscar shortlisted FROM GROUND ZERO; and Mahdi Fleifel’s TO A LAND UNKNOWN, which premiered as part of the 77th Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight.
