Since its inception in 1954, the Kuwait National Cinema Company (KNCC) has been Kuwait's sole exhibitor, operating 82 screens in 11 locations. In 2005, Cinescape partnered with Front Row Filmed Entertainment, distributing major Independent films from international suppliers like New Line Cinema, Studio Canal, TF1 International, Wild Bunch, Studio Ghibli, and many more. This alliance has distributed more than 600 titles to date. In 2023, the KNCC’s net profits grew by 39% over the previous year to $34.5m, achieved on operating revenues of $96.4m.
