CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
After graduating from university, Hesham teamed up with his buddies Ahmed Fahmy and Chico to create low-budget comedy films — the most iconic being MEN WHO DON’T KNOW THE IMPOSSIBLE. Their quirky vibe caught producer Mohamed Hefzy’s attention, leading to the short film AFISH W TASHBIH by Amr Salama and their first feature CIPHER in 2008. For the next seven years, the trio ruled comedy with fearless satire, wild fantasy, and fresh spoofs of classic Egyptian cinema. Eventually, they drifted apart, and since 2022, Majed has been riding solo with rising box office hits such as TASLEEM AHALI, HAMEL EL LAQAB, and the series ASHGHAL SHAQA.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
Multi-Box Office Hit: In 2024, Majed pulled a double whammy, dropping two comedies, MY WIFE’S EX and FASEL MEN EL LAHZAT EL LAZIZA, that together raked in over $17.7m across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He also joined a star-packed ensemble in the romantic film A FEW HOURS IN ONE DAY to close the year on a high note.
