Her repertoire includes editing award-winning Arab films, such as Hala Lotfy’s COMING FORTH BY DAY (Berlinale), Amjad Abu Alala’s YOU WILL DIE AT TWENTY (Venice), THE BURDENED (Berlinale), and Mohamed Kordofani’s GOODBYE JULIA (Cannes’ Un Certain Regard), alongside more commercial titles like the film OUT OF ORDER and MBC’s Shahid TV series THE AFFAIR.

THANK YOU FOR BANKING WITH US!: Laila Abbas’ debut feature premiered at the 68th BFI London Festival and won the Best Arab Narrative Film at the seventh GFF and Best Director at Thessaloniki.
