CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
Atallah is a filmmaker, producer, and cultural art manager based between Berlin and Jerusalem. His experience covers a range of filmmaking projects, including both fiction and documentary, along with the creation of the non-profit organization Filmlab: Palestine in 2014 in Ramallah. Moreover, Atallah was the initiator, producer, and manager of the Palestinian Memory Documentation Project in Talbiyeh Refugee Camp in Jordan. He is also the founder and Artistic Director of Palestine Cinema Days.
He worked with the Palestinian filmmaker Muayad Alayan on two of his features — as an executive producer for THE REPORTS ON SARAH AND SALEEM, which premiered at the 47th IFFR, where it won a Special Mention, in addition to six awards from other festivals; and as a line producer for A HOUSE IN JERUSALEM, which also premiered at the IFFR.
