FINAL CUT IN VENICE | ITALY
CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
Since its inception in 2013 as part of the Venice Production Bridge at the Venice International Film
Festival, the Final Cut in Venice has been a catalyst in providing concrete assistance to complete quality projects in the post-production
phase from Africa, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. It has also facilitated talents and garnered awards, thereby making a
significant impact on the global film industry.
TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
Aisha Will Fly Now: In the 2024 Final Cut, five Arab projects were presented to
producers, buyers, distributors, and festival programmers during a three-day program, in which the Egyptian filmmaker Morad
Mostafa’s AISHA CAN’T FLY AWAY won the La Biennale di Venezia prize, in addition to four other awards from partners.
The Dates are Set: The 13th edition of Final Cut in Venice will run from August 31st to September 2nd, providing the usual
opportunities for networking, encounters, and meetings in which directors and producers can engage with the program's
participants.
