CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
After she obtained her M.F.A. in film from Columbia University, in 2007,
Dabis presented her short film, MAKE A WISH, at Sundance, Berlinale, and Clermont-Ferrand, where it won
several awards. Dabis worked for three seasons as a writer and co-producer on Showtime’s THE D WORD
before going on to make her feature debut with the 2009 title AMREEKA, which premiered at Sundance
and won the FIPRESCI Critics’ Prize at the Director’s Fortnight at Cannes. That same year, Dabis was
named one of Variety’s ‘Ten Directors to Watch.’ Her repertoire also several episodes of OZARK’s third
season, RAMY’s first two seasons, and the first three seasons of ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING.

Dabis directed, wrote, and starred in her feature ALL THAT'S LEFT OF YOU alongside Saleh,
Mohammad, Adam Bakri, and Maria Zreik. The film premiered at this year’s Sundance and was selected
among IndieWire’s top 10 Best International Fiction Films in its 2025 Sundance Critics Survey.
