Ahmed Badawy is a renowned Egyptian producer and founder of Film Square, celebrated for his role in shaping the film industry in Egypt and the Arab World. With over 20 years of experience, Badawy has produced some of the highest-grossing films, including THE BLUE ELEPHANT franchise, Diamond Dust, KIRA WE EL GIN, EL RUBY HOUSE, and WELAD RIZK II & III, collaborating with top stars, such as Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Ezz, Hend Sabri, and Menna Shalaby. As a founding partner of Synergy Production, Badawy contributed to iconic films such as Al Aslyeen and Al Aref. He began his career in 2000, making his mark as a production director and line producer on several hits. Throughout his career, Badawy has produced internationally acclaimed films like AL SHOOQ and AFTER THE BATTLE, which premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.

Box Office Hits: The company enjoyed a successful release of the Siko Siko comedy, which grossed over $3m in Egypt and Saudi Arabia in its first four weeks, in addition to MY WIFE’S EX and 6 DAYS.
2025 Projects: Currently, he is working on significant projects, such as EL SETT, directed by Marwan Hamed, and is preparing to release Restart and AHMED & AHMED soon.
International Interests: Most recently, Sarah Goher’s HAPPY BIRTHDAY was selected at Tribeca Film Festival’s International Narrative Competition, and Karim El-Shennawi’s THE TALE OF DAYE’S FAMILY the 75th Berlinale.
