Neom has forged a strategic partnership with the Korean Film Council to set up training programs for young Saudi content creators. The full-service Saudi production hub will host courses by the Korean Academy of Film Arts — South Korea’s top national film school. Simon West, the director of LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER and THE EXPENDABLES 2, has set his next movie ANTARA to be shot in Neom. The film will tell the true story of Antara ibn Shaddad — a slave in the sixth century who won his freedom and became a knight and one of the most famous poets in ancient Arabia.
