Selim Ramia now operates 97 cinema screens in Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan. Two of its venues — the 2010-seat Grand Cinemas Citymall and the 1750-seat Taj Cinemas — are some of the largest exhibition complexes in the Levant.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
As a distributor, Selim is no longer in the business of handling Hollywood blockbusters, instead releasing indie and international movies such as the animation film LENDARYS. As a producer, the company teamed with Front Row on Matty Brown’s thriller THE SAND CASTLE, set for release in 2024. Filmed in Beirut, the film reunites Nadine Labaki with Zain Al-Rafeea — the Syrian refugee who appeared alongside her in the 2018 Cannes jury prize winner CAPERNAUM.
