The Red Sea International Film Festival, set in the picturesque city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a global celebration of storytelling through film.
This vibrant event brings together filmmakers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts from around the world, showcasing diverse and groundbreaking
works while nurturing emerging talent. At the heart of the festival is the Red Sea Souk, a dynamic film market that serves as a thriving hub for industry
networking, business opportunities, and creative collaboration. It provides a platform for filmmakers, producers, distributors, and investors to engage
in dialogue, forge partnerships, and bring compelling stories to global audiences.
TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
The third edition kicked off with the world premiere of Iraqi director Yasir Al-Yasiri’s Saudi-set fantasy HWJN and a glitzy red carpet featuring
international A-list stars Will Smith, Sharon Stone, Baz Luhrmann, and Ranveer Singh. It also featured seven classic films for the first time in the
kingdom, among them two Egyptian films that were restored in collaboration with the Egyptian Media Production City: THE VICTORY OF YOUTH and MY WIFE’S
GOBLIN.
The festival’s fourth edition will run from December 5th to the 14th in Jeddah at the new headquarters in Al Balad.
